There is no crisis in Russia-Azerbaijan relations: Putin
Julya
There is no crisis in Russia-Azerbaijan relations. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“If there were a crisis in inter-state relations, we wouldn’t see an increase in trade and economic ties. Yet, despite everything we have seen and faced, the growth, including significant growth, has continued. So what crisis in inter-state relations? I would say it was more of an emotional crisis,” he said.
According to Putin, a tragedy occurred with the AZAL aircraft, so calmness was necessary to navigate through it. “We needed time,” he added.
Putin hopes that Moscow and Baku have turned the page following the AZAL aircraft disaster.
