Employees Dismissed from Police System, Another Received a Severe Warning

The transparency in addressing violations of discipline and ethics within the system is one of the principles adopted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This was reported to NEWS.am by the police of the Ministry.

The regular session of the commission took place on October 9, chaired by Ara Fidanyan, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The materials and conclusions regarding the service examinations conducted on five police officers were studied and discussed. The materials in question specifically related to severe violations of discipline during service.

After analyzing the factual circumstances, the disciplinary commission of the Ministry decided to recommend to the relevant officials who initiated the service examinations to apply the disciplinary penalties of 'Dismissal from the Police' against four officers, and a 'Severe Warning' against one officer.
