I Will End This Horrible Conflict Between Russia and Ukraine: Trump Sets Deadline

Former US President Donald Trump announced at a rally in Philadelphia that if he wins the election, he will put an end to the Ukraine conflict by the time of his inauguration. The broadcast of his speech was managed by the Times Now portal on YouTube.

“Even before I enter the Oval Office, and we win the presidential elections, I will end this horrible conflict between Russia and Ukraine,” the politician promised.

Earlier, Trump had repeatedly stated that if he wins the elections, he would be able to resolve the conflict between Russia and Ukraine in just 24 hours. Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the Russian president, commented on these statements, indicating that the issue is too complicated for such a simple solution.

Last year, Vladimir Putin positively assessed Trump’s willingness to resolve acute issues, including the Ukrainian crisis, in a matter of days. At the same time, he expressed doubts that any election outcome in the US would affect Russian-American relations.

The US presidential elections are scheduled for November 5. Trump's main competitor will be the incumbent president, Joe Biden. The inauguration ceremony is set to take place on January 20, 2025.
