You Have Taken Away Our Homeland from Artsakh Armenians: Protest Held in Front of Government

Today, a protest was held in front of the government building. “You do not have the right to speak about the Artsakh Armenians. You have taken our homeland from the Artsakh Armenians,” declared Anastas Israelian, the leader of the 'Reviving Artsakh' initiative during the protest.

“The current leadership claims that Artsakh is Armenia, and that is it; the people of Artsakh are not in danger, there is no threat of genocide, and we do not have the right to make decisions on behalf of the people of Artsakh. But look at what is happening: they decided on the fate of the Artsakh people, they handed over the people of Artsakh, and they surrendered Artsakh itself. We will not allow anyone to put the issue of Artsakh or its return into question,” he stated.

Israelian is confident that during the upcoming electoral campaign, forces will exploit the issues of Artsakh and its people to gain power and positions.
