The United States on Its Relations with Russia
It is crucial for the United States and Russia to maintain dialogue for the sake of peace. The two countries should not be enemies, said U.S. Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna ahead of her meeting with Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), reports RIA Novosti.
“I officially confirm the meeting with Russia’s special representative Kirill Dmitriev, which will take place at the end of this month. Our countries do not need to be enemies. Trade allies are beneficial for everyone. I know I am not the only one in Congress or America who believes that maintaining this dialogue is important,” she stated.
The dialogue on trade and peace with Russia is crucial not only for Americans but for the entire global community, the congresswoman added, noting that she and her colleagues are eagerly anticipating the meeting with Dmitriev.
