Aliyev: 'I have appealed to the Prime Minister of Armenia and have not received a response again'
In a conversation with reporters following the meeting in Prague, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev mentioned that sooner or later, Armenia will provide a transit route to Nakhchivan.
According to Aliyev, when he appealed to the Prime Minister of Armenia regarding the need for an automobile road, he received no response again.
"This is no longer even laughable, because it is not a large section; everyone knows how the railway and the automobile road will pass. It is unclear why there is a lack of willingness to grant us access to Nakhchivan, violating obligations. But we are still maintaining patience; I am confident that we will achieve this as well, but it is preferable to do so soon," said the leader of the aggressive country.
According to Aliyev, this issue will be discussed at the upcoming meeting between him and Prime Minister Pashinyan in Brussels in November, as well as during meetings of foreign ministers and the talks on border delimitation scheduled in Brussels this month.
It is worth noting that a quadrilateral meeting took place in Prague yesterday involving Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, President Emmanuel Macron of France, and President Charles Michel of the European Council.
