Edward Asryan Welcomes Members of EU Technical Assessment Mission

On October 15, Major General Edward Asryan, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces and First Deputy Minister of Defense of Armenia, met with members of the EU Technical Assessment Mission.

Major General Asryan welcomed the mission's visit to Armenia and expressed the readiness of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia to cooperate with and support the mission, presenting the situation created as a result of Azerbaijan's large-scale aggression on September 13.

During the meeting, the main objectives and tasks of the mission were presented to the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia. The interlocutors discussed technical and organizational questions regarding the mission's activities.
