Widespread Flight Delays in the U.S. Due to Crew Issues

Starting from October 6, U.S. airports have reported widespread flight delays due to issues related to crew members. This was stated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

“On Monday, the FAA announced that crew-related problems have been the reason for delays at several airports, including Newark and Denver,” the statement read.

This follows the remarks from U.S. Transportation Secretary Shawn Duffy, who noted that the number of air traffic controllers on sickness leave has increased since the onset of the closure.
