We are shutting down all cash registers, we are not working: Entrepreneurs continue protest
The president of the Small and Medium Enterprises Association, Hakob Avagyan, announced after a meeting with government representatives that they are waiting for a response from the government on Thursday. It is noted that employees from various shopping centers are staging a strike today and have gathered near the government building. They are protesting against the increase in the tax burden.
"We presented our demand – to suspend the law's implementation at this stage, and then calmly discuss sector by sector on equal grounds. We were told that we should expect at least an announcement of willingness in the government session this Thursday. Our next meeting will be on Thursday at 11 AM to follow up on our response," said Hakob Avagyan.
"We are shutting down all cash registers, we are not working until the government resolves the issue," the protesters declared.
