What Should Have Been Different: Pashinyan on the Murder of Volodya Grigoryan

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the case of the murder of Volodya Grigoryan, the head of the enlarged community of Parakar, during a session dedicated to the day of the Investigative Committee's employee. He stated, “At least there was a revelation, an investigation is ongoing, and I hope that no questions will remain unanswered as a result of the investigation. I am confident that everything possible is being done for this, but nevertheless we need to return to the question: what could we have done differently, where is the oversight?”

Pashinyan emphasized the serious issue of crime levels in Armenia, particularly violent crimes, saying, “What should have been different so that all this did not happen? The level of crime in Armenia is a serious problem, especially violent crimes. Every gunshot ultimately makes every citizen feel targeted. If the first impression is not like that, at least the second, third, or fourth one is.”
