Next is Davit Tonoyan: A Decision has been Made
The newspaper 'Zhoghavorud' reports that, according to its sources, the investigative commission studying the circumstances of the 44-day war is set to summon former Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan following former Chief of the General Staff Jalal Harutyunyan.
As is known, Tonoyan is currently held in an NSS isolation facility. Presently, our information indicates there are two viewpoints within the commission: they either need to seek permission to visit him, or they must apply through the established procedures to bring David Tonoyan to the National Assembly of Armenia.
It is noteworthy that a series of meetings will continue in the near future, and more individuals will also be summoned. The issue at hand is that there is little time left for the commission's activities, and there is a need to hasten their work, finalize it, and present a conclusion.
The conclusion is expected to include a document exonerating Nikol Pashinyan from wartime crimes. In other words, Pashinyan has instructed the National Assembly to clear him of all the blame and accusations related to the war and its defeat.
