US Residents Starting to Win Legal Cases Thanks to Artificial Intelligence
Residents in the United States have begun winning legal cases using artificial intelligence (AI) tools instead of lawyers, reports NBC.
The network cites the case of Lynn White, an American who was facing eviction from her mobile home due to having her lease expired. She lost her case through a court-appointed attorney. However, after filing an appeal, she decided to seek assistance from the ChatGPT neural network and the Perplexity AI service. Ultimately, she was able to keep her home and reduce her initial debt.
Nevertheless, AI companies urge caution in using their services for legal purposes. NBC reports that legal documents generated by artificial intelligence are often filled with inaccuracies and erroneous reasoning.
