Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, has commented on French President Emmanuel Macron's statement. "Did the Russian 'shadow fleet' destroy us?" she wrote on her Telegram channel.

Previously, the leftist party 'Disobedient France' proposed initiating impeachment proceedings against the French president in parliament. The resolution calling for the president's removal from office has been signed by 104 leftist deputies from various political groups. This accounts for nearly one-fifth of the total membership of the National Assembly, which has 577 seats.

It is noted that the recent resignation of French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu after only 27 days in office has plunged the country into an unprecedented political crisis in decades. This has also led to calls for the president's resignation.
