Russia Increases Oil Exports Sharply

Russia has sharply increased its oil exports following strikes by Ukraine on its oil refineries. This was reported by Bloomberg.

Since the beginning of August, Ukraine has carried out at least 28 attacks on Russian oil refining facilities, with a total of 21 strikes occurring in the first seven months of 2025.

As a result, fuel production within Russia has decreased, while oil sales via maritime transport have increased by approximately the same amount.
