Kocharian Discusses His Visit to Moscow

I was in Moscow a month ago, for two days—Saturday and Sunday. I went for personal matters and returned on Monday at noon. This was stated by the second President Robert Kocharian during a press conference.

“If I had the purpose of official visits or if I had applied for one, I would have chosen different days of the week,” he said.

It is worth noting that reports had circulated in the media that Kocharian met with Kremlin curator for Armenian issues, Sergey Kiriyenko, discussing internal political issues in Armenia, including matters related to the elections.
