Trump: First Phase of Ceasefire Between Israel and Hamas Must Conclude This Week

US President Donald Trump announced on his TruthSocial page that the first phase of the US plan to cease hostilities between Israel and Hamas should conclude this week.

He stated that there had been "very positive discussions with representatives of Hamas" and other countries over the weekend. Trump emphasized that the negotiations have been successful and have progressed swiftly.

The US President noted that technical teams will meet today in Egypt to work out the details and finalize the arrangements.

"I have been informed that the first phase is to be completed this week, and I urge everyone to act quickly. I will continue to monitor this age-old 'conflict'," he added.
