Praise for Putin in Germany

The Western countries' bet that Russia would lose in the conflict with Ukraine did not materialize, as the Russian economy has strengthened since February of last year. This was reported by An-Dorit Boy, a columnist for the German newspaper Der Spiegel.

According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin can be called a winner, and his political and economic strategy has been successful. Boy added that since February 2022, the internal political situation in the Russian Federation remains stable, and the level of unemployment in the country is at a minimum. These factors indicate that an economic collapse has not occurred in Russia, contrary to the expectations of Western politicians.

Moreover, researcher Petr Sojka from the Slovak Academy of Sciences expressed in an article for the South China Morning Post (SCMP) that U.S. President Joe Biden should convince Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky to sign a ceasefire with Russia to secure victory over Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential elections.
