France's Newly Appointed Prime Minister Resigns
France's Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu has submitted his resignation just hours after the announcement of the new cabinet, according to reputable French publications. President Macron has accepted his resignation.
The composition of the government was revealed the day before. Lecornu, who previously held the position of Minister of Defense, was appointed Prime Minister on September 9.
