Former French Prime Minister Reveals Reason for Resignation
Former French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu told The Washington Post that he resigned because he was unable to find a compromise among the polarized political parties in the country.
According to him, each political party operates as if it has a majority in parliament. “Being Prime Minister is a difficult job, especially at this moment,” Lecornu noted.
It is worth reminding that French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu submitted his resignation just hours after the composition of the government was announced.
