VIDEO: A Secretly Recorded Phone Conversation of Russian Billionaire Trotsenko Leaked Online
A new secretly recorded conversation of the Russian elite has surfaced online. It is believed that the audio involves billionaire Roman Trotsenko and businessman Nikolai Matushevsky. In the recording, Trotsenko labels Russian President Vladimir Putin as 'foolish.'
Trotsenko is a former president of the United Shipbuilding Corporation and a former advisor to Igor Sechin, the head of Rosneft, making him one of the businessmen relatively close to Putin. Matushevsky, an old friend of Trotsenko and the founder of the Moscow-based Flacon design studio, publicly supports the opposition.
In the conversation, Trotsenko, recently in Bali, tells Matushevsky that 'in Indonesia, everything will multiply tenfold in ten years, while Russia will face a double decline.'
'Unfortunately, Russia, which we love so much, is in the hands of some fools who are conspiring with strange compositions from the 19th century. This will not end well; it will end in hell. People will kill each other on the streets of Moscow,' says the billionaire.
Matushevsky questions, 'Do you think this person, who says the same thing every year, can govern the country?' The voice attributed to Trotsenko continues, stating that 2023 is the last year when it is possible to extract business from Russia and leave.
'Everything has collapsed in Russia. Fate has given you one year to get all your loved ones out, withdraw money, and take everything you need,' he tells his interlocutor.
Both alleged participants, billionaire Roman Trotsenko and businessman Nikolai Matushevsky, have denied the authenticity of the recording and called it fabricated. It is worth mentioning that another secretly recorded phone conversation was leaked on March 26, in which producer Iosif Prigozhin and billionaire Farhad Akhmedov reportedly criticize President Putin and his circle, calling them 'scum' and 'criminals' who have drained their and their children's resources.
