Clash Occurs Between Supporters of Grigoryan and Akhtoyan: Journalist

A clash has occurred between supporters of Valodya Grigoryan and Mher Akhtoyan. This was reported by journalist Lia Sargsyan.

"Law enforcement agencies have tightened their control in the enlarged community of Parakar since this morning, and there is a heavy police presence everywhere. The situation escalated overnight in Parakar, just beyond the police checkpoint, with a brawl occurring between supporters of Valodya Grigoryan and the Mayor from the ruling Civil Contract party, Mher Akhtoyan. The fight became so heated that both sides started throwing stones at each other.

On the same night, unknown individuals vandalized the grave of Grigor Ohanyan, the brother of Narek Ohanyan, who is accused of aiding the murders of Grigoryan and Karen Abrahamyan.

Two weeks after the murders of Valodya Grigoryan and Karen Abrahamyan, the situation in Parakar remains tense. Participants in the brawl have not been arrested, and some have fled," the journalist reported.
