30 Kiosks and Booths Dismantled from the Sidewalk Adjacent to Gnuni Market
The sidewalk adjacent to the Gnuni Market has been returned to the residents of Yerevan. This was reported during a regular meeting of the Yerevan City Hall today.
Last week, around 30 kiosks and booths that were either installed or built on municipal land were dismantled. The area will be renovated to ensure a safe and comfortable passage for pedestrians.
During the meeting, Yerevan’s Mayor Tigran Avinyan addressed the plan to dismantle the kiosks on Gnuni Street, expressing gratitude to those involved in the efforts. “I have asked Mr. Petoyan to implement the renovation project for Gnuni Market. There are kiosks located in separate sections that have a certain legal status. However, we understand that the situation in that area needs to change, and we must rid ourselves of the unsightly conditions that are inappropriate for the street as soon as possible,” he stated.
