Ukraine and Russia Signal Readiness to Continue War, Says Fidan

Ukraine and Russia are sending signals to each other that they are ready to continue the war. This was stated by Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

According to him, the escalation of the situation related to air attacks in the Ukrainian conflict indicates that the sides are preparing to prolong the war. “This is a common position in strategies. If one side makes concessions, the other will act more decisively. To avoid such a scenario, both sides—Ukrainian, European, and Russian—are maximizing their military efforts,” the minister added.

Fidan noted that Kyiv has rejected Russia's proposal to hand over part of the Donbas under Ukrainian control, and therefore military operations will continue.
