Munich Airport Targeted: Drones Found to Be Military Reconnaissance
The drones that were spotted at Munich Airport have been confirmed to be military reconnaissance. The airport has come under scrutiny, and rightly so, as a target. This was reported by the Bild newspaper.
Since last night, Munich Airport has halted operations twice due to the presence of unidentified drones. The airport resumed the arrival and departure of flights only this morning. According to Bild, a police helicopter attempted to locate the drone’s operator, but the efforts were unsuccessful.
It is worth noting that on the morning of October 3, a stationary detection system reported the presence of a drone approximately 700 meters from Frankfurt Airport. Police have arrested a 41-year-old Croatian who was piloting the drone, and administrative proceedings have been initiated against him.
