The Prospects for Continuing Negotiations Are Uncertain: Peskov
The position of Kyiv regarding the resolution remains abstract and effectively blocks the negotiation process. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia.
According to him, as of today, the prospects for continuing the negotiation process are uncertain. "They do not wish to continue negotiations or agree on anything, which does not add predictability or stability," emphasized the Kremlin representative.
Peskov linked the topic of negotiations to the issue of Western arms supplies. He commented on the possibility of transferring 'Tomahawk' cruise missiles to Kyiv being discussed in the USA, noting that such a step would create a new phase of tension and would require an appropriate response from Russia.
