Israel Seizes 13 Ships from the Smud Fleet, 25 Turkish Activists Arrested
The Israeli Defense Forces have seized 13 ships from the Smud fleet, which were transporting humanitarian aid for Palestinians to the shores of the Gaza Strip. According to APA, this information was disseminated by the international mission's information committee.
According to the published information, Israeli military personnel have employed force against the ships, deliberately provoking collisions, using water cannons, and mistreating detained activists. Previously, reports indicated the seizure of four ships and the arrest of 70 activists.
The Turkish representation of the fleet has also issued a written statement regarding the Israeli attacks on the ships. The statement mentions that a total of 15 ships have been seized, and the number of arrested Turkish activists has reached 25.
