Which Groups of Society Will Be Included in the Insurance Packages: Minister of Health
The comprehensive health insurance system in Armenia will be implemented in three phases, starting in 2026 and concluding in 2028. This was announced at a press conference by Armenia's Minister of Health, Anahit Avanesyan.
“In the first phase, starting in 2026, the insurance system will include children under 18, citizens over 65, citizens aged 18-65 with disabilities, citizens with a socioeconomic score of 28 or higher, and those with a monthly income, salary, and other earnings exceeding 200,000 AMD,” the minister stated.
Anahit Avanesyan noted that 1.6 million citizens who have lived in Armenia for the last 183 days will benefit from the first phase of the comprehensive health insurance system. For more details, watch the video.
