Teenagers Arrested in Russia for Terrorist Activities

Six teenagers have been arrested in four regions of Russia for calls to and preparation of terrorist activities, as reported by the Investigative Committee of Russia. Criminal cases have been initiated against them. The authorities stated that the children were under the "negative influence from abroad" through social media and messengers.

According to the Investigative Committee, a 14-year-old girl from Bashkortostan promoted the activities of a terrorist organization, while a 15-year-old in the Orenburg region joined a terrorist movement and expressed intent to damage and destroy property through arson in exchange for a monetary reward.

Preventive measures taken against most of the teenagers involved include isolation from society.
