‘My Step’ Newly Elected Faction Holds Meeting
The ‘My Step’ faction in the National Assembly is currently holding a meeting. This is reported by Armlur, noting that the topic of the meeting is the election of the chairpersons of the Assembly's committees.
Earlier it was reported that the situation within the ruling faction has been tense again these days. The position of the chairperson of the Health and Social Issues Standing Committee has become a point of contention, with former head of the government staff Arsen Torosyan vying for it, while My Step MP Hriknaz Tigranyan is also competing for the same position. However, the faction seems inclined to elect Narek Zeynalanyan.
Interestingly, at this critical juncture for the country, when the enemy has been firing shots throughout the night along the border in the Gegharkunik region, leading to 3 casualties and 4 injuries on the Armenian side, the ruling faction prioritizes discussing the election of committee chairpersons.
