Russia to Purchase Chinese Gasoline

The Russian authorities have prepared a package of measures to import gasoline from China and other Asian countries to compensate for the fuel shortage that has emerged in the country following drone attacks on major oil refining plants.

According to data from "Kommersant", in addition to China, Moscow hopes to buy gasoline from South Korea and Singapore as well. For this purpose, it is planned to abolish the import duties on fuel entering through certain checkpoints in the Far East.

At the same time, the state will compensate importers for the difference between global and domestic prices from the budget.
