Discussions Held on Armenia-Iran Bilateral Relations

The Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, Narek Hovakimyan, along with the Ministry's Chief Secretary Haikaz Nasibyan, are on a working visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran. During this visit, they met with Mohammad Ali Dehqan Dehnavi, the Deputy Minister of Trade, Industry, and Mines of Iran, and the head of the Trade Development Organization. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.

Also present at the meeting was Vardan Kostanyan, Armenia’s trade attaché in Iran. The discussions focused on Armenia-Iran bilateral economic relations and issues related to trade cooperation.

Narek Hovakimyan welcomed the opening of the Iranian trade center in Yerevan and discussed the details of establishing an Armenian trade house in Iran. The parties emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation within the framework of the memorandum of understanding on the exchange of goods signed in Yerevan, and expressed readiness to develop new platforms for collaboration.
