Consequences Did Not Delay: The US Embassy in Armenia Issues a Statement

Due to the lack of approval of the US budget, there will be no new posts on our Facebook page until our operations fully resume. Exceptions will be made for urgent publications related to safety and security. This was announced by the press service of the US Embassy in Armenia.

“Under conditions of an unapproved budget, passport and visa services that have already been scheduled will continue at US embassies and consulates as long as the situation permits. Updates will be posted on this page after we fully resume operations, and until then, only publications related to safety and security will be posted,” it stated.

Recall that it was previously reported that some federal agencies in the US would cease operations. The US Senate was unable to pass either of the two bills concerning federal spending funding.
