Vachagan Ghazaryan: My Defender is Getting Annoyed, I've Already Spoken Once, That's Enough

The former head of the security detail for Armenia's third President Serzh Sargsyan, Vachagan Ghazaryan, was unable to respond to reporters' questions today.

"We don't have time, we are running late, my defender is getting annoyed, saying, 'You've spoken once, that's enough,'" he stated.

When one reporter attempted to ask a question, beginning with the word "nonetheless," he interrupted, saying, "Nonetheless, we’re not speaking today; we will talk another time."

Earlier, it was reported that the Prosecutor General's Office is accusing Serzh Sargsyan of illegally selling land adjacent to the 'Yerablur' pantheon below market value. This pertains to transactions made in 2005 when Sargsyan was the Minister of Defense.

In December 2024, the Prosecutor General's Office announced that four settlement agreements had been reached this year as part of an illegal property confiscation procedure. Under this agreement, three plots of land owned by Vachagan Ghazaryan were returned to the state.
