Turkey Responds to Azerbaijan's 'Red Lines' Statement
The Turkish embassy in Baku has expressed its position regarding the recent spread of "fake news" about Azerbaijan in Turkey. According to APA, Alptekin Cihangir, the press adviser of the Turkish embassy, stated that they are working towards the development of a Turkey-Azerbaijan media platform and ensuring its greater presence in these processes.
"We will fight against internal and external forces attempting to undermine Turkish-Azerbaijani relations. There should be mutual negotiations, and we must counter these forces. We need to be more united. We will not allow anyone to interfere. There are individuals who are pouring water on the mills of internal and external forces aiming to disrupt Azerbaijani-Turkish relations. But we must unite more closely against this," he said.
It is worth mentioning that Azerbaijan had urged Turkey not to cross any 'red lines.'
