Russia's Response to Trump's Statement

Russia supports U.S. President Donald Trump's efforts aimed at resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. This was announced by the official spokesperson of the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov.

According to him, Russia wishes for the U.S. president's plan to become a reality. The spokesperson for Putin also emphasized that Moscow is not participating in Washington's Middle East peace initiative: "Russia has not received any signals from the United States regarding this. Moscow is maintaining communication with the parties involved in the Middle East conflict and is ready to seek a peaceful resolution to the conflict if necessary," said the press secretary of the Russian Federation.
