Mikayel Minasian's Detention Request Reassigned to Judge Manvel Shahverdyan: Makinyan

Two weeks ago, the request for the detention of former Armenian ambassador to the Vatican, Mikayel Minasian, was assigned to Judge Marine Melkonyan, but the prosecution withdrew the submitted request. This was noted by lawyer Amram Makinyan.

He stated that after that, the law enforcement agencies, without conducting any investigative actions, waited until two weeks had passed and then reintroduced the request for Mr. Minasian's detention.

The lawyer pointed out that initially, it was assigned to Judge Armine Meliksetyan, whose hearing scheduled for yesterday was inexplicably canceled. Today, at 5:00 PM, it became known that the aforementioned request has been reassigned to Judge Manvel Shahverdyan.
