Czech Republic to Ban Entry of Unaccredited Russian Diplomats

The Czech Republic will ban entry for holders of unaccredited Russian diplomatic and service passports. The government made the decision today. The aim of this measure is to restrict the movement of Russian diplomats within EU countries, according to the CTK news agency.

“This action pertains to international airports. The number of diversionary activities is increasing... We serve as an example for other countries, and I will continue to insist on the adoption of maximum consistent measures within the Schengen area,” said Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky to reporters.
