We Hope the Conflict with Russia Will End by the End of 2025, Says Sibigain
Kiev hopes to conclude its conflict with Russia by the end of 2025, stated Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrey Sibigain during the Warsaw Security Forum.
“We want to end this war this year,” Sibigain said. The diplomat noted that there was greater confidence in this regard following a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. President Donald Trump in New York during the UN General Assembly.
On the same day, the Ukrainian foreign minister participated in a meeting in Warsaw with partners from the “Weimar Triangle” (Germany, France, and Poland), where he also discussed the diplomatic consequences of the recent meeting between Trump and Zelensky.
According to the Ukrainian foreign minister, the presidents discussed security guarantees for Kiev and the removal of any taboos regarding the supply and use of American weapons to achieve “permanent peace.”
