Hungary Blocks 12 Ukrainian Media Outlets

Hungary has blocked 12 Ukrainian media outlets in response to censorship from Kyiv. According to an announcement by Gergely Gujás, head of the Hungarian Prime Minister's Office, "Hungary has responded to Ukrainian censorship. Ukraine, aspiring to join the European Union, has blocked foreign websites, including Hungarian ones, as they dared to critically address the policies regarding anti-Russian sanctions, military support provided to Ukraine, and have dared to present the EU and NATO as divided and not very effective organizations," he stated on the social media platform Facebook (which is banned in Russia due to extremist content).

The official emphasized that considering the principle of reciprocity, his country is implementing mirror measures against Ukrainian news sites, and these will not be accessible within Hungary.
