Kim Kardashian Speaks Out on the Armenia-Azerbaijan Border Situation

American-Armenian television star Kim Kardashian has posted a message on Twitter criticizing Azerbaijan's aggression along the border with Armenia.

Civil structures in Armenia have been targeted, and Azerbaijan has now threatened to strike the nuclear power plant located in Armenia. Civil infrastructure has been targeted in Armenia, and now Azerbaijan is threatening to bomb Armenia's nuclear power plant. At the same time, next week there will be amendments in the National Defense Authorization Act ensuring that the U.S. does not allow military assistance to Azerbaijan that would be directed against Armenia and Artsakh. The international community must pay attention and take diplomatic and political measures right now to prevent further escalation and loss of human lives. I stand with Armenia and pray for those who are at the border in this tense situation. I urge for a peaceful resolution of the situation during this complicated era of the pandemic. I call for a peaceful resolution to these unfounded attacks in the truly difficult context of this pandemic.
