Enemy Fires Approximately 137 Rounds Towards Armenian Positions: MoD Spokesperson Provides Details
During the night of July 19 to 20 on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, as well as currently, a relative calm has been maintained. However, the enemy has violated the ceasefire regime 9 times in separate sections of the border, firing approximately 137 rounds towards Armenian positions. This was reported by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense, Shushan Stepanyan, on her Facebook page.
“Combat positions located in the direction of Janbular fired 2 times, with the enemy using an HAn-17 type grenade launcher. The enemy was silenced by return fire from the Armenian side. In the directions of Chinari, Nerkin Karmiraghbyur, Berkaber, and Berdavan, there were 4 instances of non-targeted fire. No return fire was made by the Armenian side. In the direction of Khndzorut, there were 2 instances of non-targeted fire. No return fire was made by the Armenian side. In the direction of Paruir Sevak, there was one instance. The enemy was silenced by return fire from the Armenian side,” she wrote.
