8000 Children at Risk: Cybercriminals Target UK Nurseries

Cybercriminals have stolen the personal data of over 8000 children from nurseries in the United Kingdom. This was reported by CNN.

The stolen data includes children's photographs, names, and addresses. The attackers have already posted some of this information on the dark web and demanded a ransom from the company.

The London police have confirmed that they received a report on the ransom demand on September 25.

The UK's National Cyber Security Centre has called the situation "deeply concerning."

“Cybercriminals will target anyone they believe they can make money from. Targeting those who care for children is an especially despicable act,” said the centre's director, Jonathan Ellison.
