Russia Launches Nearly 500 Drones and Over 40 Missiles Towards Ukraine: Zelensky
In a massive nighttime assault on September 28, Russia has launched approximately 500 strike drones and over 40 missiles, including 'Kinzhal' missiles, against Ukraine, as stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The main targets of the attack included Kyiv and its region, as well as Zaporizhzhia, Khmelnytskyi, Sumy, and Odesa regions. Reports indicate that there are 4 fatalities in Kyiv, including a 12-year-old girl, and at least 40 injured across Ukraine, among them children.
“Bakeries, an automobile rubber factory, private and apartment buildings, as well as civilian infrastructure facilities have been hit. This despicable attack occurred essentially at the conclusion of the UN General Assembly week, and this is how Russia announces its true stance. Moscow wants to continue waging war and killing, and deserves nothing but the harshest pressure from the world. The Kremlin benefits from continuing this war and terrorism as long as there are resources from energy and a shadow fleet is operational. We will continue to deliver retaliatory strikes to deprive Russia of the means to earn money and impose diplomacy. Anyone who desires peace must support President Trump's efforts and stop any Russian imports. The time for decisive action has long come, and we expect a strong response from the US, Europe, the G7, and the G20,” said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
