Ukrainian Armed Forces Launch Counteroffensive in Melitopol and Berdyansk Directions, General Staff Reports

The Ukrainian Defense Forces are executing a counteroffensive in the directions of Melitopol and Berdyansk, as reported by the country's General Staff. It has been noted that Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly repelling attempts by Russian forces to advance.

“Russian forces are primarily concentrated in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Maryinka directions, with fierce battles continuing. A total of 32 clashes were recorded within a day,” the statement reads.

It is mentioned that in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the Russian side is attempting to prevent the advancement of Ukrainian troops, while in Bakhmut, Ukrainian forces are making gains. The Ukrainian side reports that Russian forces have targeted several settlements, resulting in destruction.
