Finland and Sweden Establish 5,000-Strong Brigade on Border with Russia
Finland and Sweden have established a 5,000-strong brigade on the border with Russia. The brigade, which will be stationed in Finnish Lapland, will also include troops from Norway and Denmark. The weaponry has already been deployed, notably including Archer self-propelled howitzers.
In the event of a conflict, the brigade will be protected from the air by British Eurofighter jets and F-35s, as well as Apache helicopters.
