According to him, the opposition is repeating the same theses that they have been repeating on the streets for the last 4-5 years; they can repeat it here as well. “We do not see the need for early elections; this is the first time I have heard from one of the speakers that they are proposing elections. It has been 4.5 years; there are 8 months left until the elections, and for the first time, I hear that the opposition is calling for early elections,” said Simonyan.

According to the Speaker of the National Assembly, the opposition is not ready for elections and, moreover, they know they will not be elected. “They know they will lose. We could go to elections tomorrow, but first, there is no need, and second, our people have mandated us for 5 years. We will get more votes in 2021 than in 2021. The opposition is not ready for elections. We will take power from them in 6 months,” said Alen Simonyan.
