"Let Them Go, Write a Resignation Letter with a Pastry" - A 'Revolt' Is Brewing in the Ministry
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs is experiencing a brewing 'revolt'. The issue at hand is that the newly appointed minister has decided to 'politely' rid the department of long-serving, experienced employees, but is doing so unofficially. This is reported by the 'Iravunk' newspaper.
“On his first day, he held a meeting and began to speak to the employees in a threatening and dismissive tone, saying that he doesn’t need outdated personnel, but rather young and retrained workers. He has set a strict requirement: 'The entire ministry must be present at 8:30 AM; I don’t care how you'll get here.' This, to put it mildly, has created a tense atmosphere leading to serious complaints, which have reached the minister. Instead of showing concern, he reportedly said, 'Let them go, write a resignation letter with a pastry; I hope they don't scare us,' according to the newspaper.
Earlier, it was reported that Zara Manucharyan, the press secretary of the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, was released from her position following her own request.
