Armenia's Ministry of Defense Issues Statement

The Republic of Armenia's Ministry of Defense has issued a statement.

“Information attributed to the Minister of Defense of Armenia is being disseminated on a newly created website of unknown origin and in several Azerbaijani media outlets. This information is not only completely detached from reality but also falls into the absurd genre. It is impossible to even label it as 'disinformation' with any degree of goodwill.

The original source of the mentioned material, along with all other relevant data, has been forwarded to the Armenian National Security Service for further processing.

The Ministry of Defense will also undertake appropriate measures (including the suspension of accreditation) against those media outlets operating in Armenia that are accredited by the Ministry of Defense and spread this false, obviously defamatory information by referring to the unknown origin website and Azerbaijani media.”
