You Cannot Solve Europe’s Security Issues at Russia's Expense, Peskov

Russia is an inseparable part of European security, stated Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President. “In other words, you cannot solve Europe’s security issues at the expense of Russia’s security. Moreover, regardless of what anyone says, even now Russia remains an inseparable part of European security. Therefore, any talk about security without Russia or at Russia’s expense is, at least, baseless. In fact, it is dangerous and unacceptable for us,” Peskov declared.

He noted that Putin has repeatedly proposed to the whole world to address the root causes of the conflict with Ukraine, but this has been rejected by the US and Europe, which have stated that Russia should not participate in discussions regarding European security issues. This, the President's press secretary pointed out, contradicts the principle of the indivisibility of security.
