Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasian: Those Who Disagree Are Traitors

“I will say to anyone who claims I’m wrong that Armenia should form a union with Russia that they are a traitor,” stated Vardan Ghukasian, the Mayor of Gyumri.

“We must unite while retaining our identity. The Republic of Armenia, with its laws, government, National Assembly, and its president, needs to form a union. This union should be established solely for the purpose of defending ourselves against these Turkish nomadic tribes,” Ghukasian added.
